Experts guide to Synthetic mink lashes application
Wearing synthetic mink lashes is one of the easiest and fastest ways to boost your overall appearance. Mink lashes can make your eyes look bigger and more prominent. However, especially of the newbies, applying eyelash extensions can get tricky and may not be as easy as it sounds in theory. If they are not applied appropriately, you are going to have them falling off in the middle of the day, when having a discussion with your friends or colleague, creating an awkward situation for you.
Here, are the proper steps you may want to follow the next time you are up for using synthetic mink lashes to elevate your look.
Measure and trim the Lashes to size
Take the lash strip and place it along your lash line. Now, check whether the length of the strip is fitting your natural eyelid. If you find that they are longer than the natural line you need to trim the mink lashes. While trimming your fake lashes, remember to cut it from the outer layer of both sides. You can also use the extra piece to highlight your outer corners.
Carefully apply the glue
Once you have trimmed the lashes, take the adhesive applicator glue and apply a few amounts along the vein of your synthetic mink lashes and wait for about 30 seconds (not more) for the glue to get a little dry but no completely. Ensure, that you have applied the glue on the vein to the edge of the vein.
You may also apply a few dots of glue along your natural lash line (not compulsory) for a super long-lasting result. But, be very cautious and prevent the glue from entering into your eyes.
Carefully apply the lashes
This is typically the hardest part of applying for eyelash extensions and requires a little patience and lots of skill. After leaving the glue to settle down on the vein for about 30 seconds, while looking down, carefully place the lash exactly where your natural lash line is and then gently press the lash in the center, the outer corner, and then on the inner corner.
Bond the lashes with your natural lashes
Here you need your mascara to work out this trick. Apply mascara on your lashes, then use tweezers or your fingertips to gently push your natural lashes upwards and the fake lashes downwards so that they set in together.
Use eyeliner to cover up the band
Take your liquid or gel eyeliner and draw a line to cover up the band. Extend the line from the band to the inner edge of your eyes. You may also flick out the end on the outer edge of your eyes to create that winged effect.
Once you are able to follow these steps and execute them, you will be all set and ready to rock your day with bright, beautiful eyes.
